There are multiple ways to update your plugin version

  • Recommended: Install via WordPress Dashboard
    The first is the standard method of installing the plugin via the admin dashboard. You can delete the old and install the new plugin version without any data loss.
  • Upload via FTP
    You can use the FTP method to update the plugins. It is however recommended to delete the existing files or overwrite them while you perform the upload.
